With this fresh impetus, the total edible oil processing capacity, including vanaspati, is expected to cross 20 million tonne per annum.
The other items being sold in the State are micro-refined sunflower oil, vanaspati, jam, honey, tomato sauce, squash, Markfed wheat, fruits and potatoes.
Vegetable ghee or vanaspati ghee is harmful as it contains nickel/aluminum.
